Overview
Bulawayo has been the cultural hub of Zimbabwe. The Creative College of Arts Africa seeks to further enhance not only Bulawayo culture but to act as a Centre for the training and Education of musicians, actors, directors and all those in related fields.
The College is currently housed at one of the earliest Church premises of the Anglican Church. It boasts the first western Chapel in the city built in 1894. Courses are conducted in the tranquil surroundings leafed by large palm trees and mature jacaranda trees. When water is available, there are two lovely swimming pools within a courtyard with ample outdoor tables and benches. The College is housed in two grand buildings: Hakar House built in 1930 and Beit House 1931.
The College opened its doors in 2016 with a small number of Degree and Diploma students in Film and Theatre Arts and Music.
