Embassy of the Russian Federation

The Embassy of the Russian Federation is located in the Avenue quarter of the Zimbabwean capital of Harare. This is one of the oldest quarters of the city, built in the XIX century. There are diplomatic missions, medical institutions, offices of various firms, shops and restaurants. Fif Avenue, on which the embassy is located, received its name in honor of Lord Alexander Duff, Duke of Fife, British politician, one of the founders of the British South African Company, which in the 19th century initiated the development of the country.
