John Hook and Son

John Hook & Son is a third generation family business. Our company was founded in 1968 by John and Joan Hook, who then welcomed their son Edward Hook into the business, and it is now run by Luke Hook – their grandson. Edward is still involved on a day to day basis and brings 45 years of experience to the table, and with Luke’s energy they make a formidable team. 

An important element to our business is our community involvement which is done through the voluntary work of Sharon Hook – wife of Edward Hook. Since 1979, Sharon has been involved with our local communities – from building churches, supporting pregnancy crisis and Zimbabwe Cares for Life, to finding solutions to waste management and a clean, green and healthy environment under Miracle Missions and supporting the fight against COVID19 under ZINCAT.
