Overview
Kurera is a Shona word which in english means “to nurture”. We are a nonprofit organization made up of people that care about the well being of children that live under less privileged and vulnerable circumstances in society. Our role is to contribute in nurturing underprivileged and vulnerable kids so that they can become stronger leaders of tomorrow.
Kurera was founded by Alison Trevor Muchato and Benjamin Hove who both saw a need to add value and invest in the lives of vulnerable and underprivileged children in Zimbabwe. Later joined by Bianca Gundu, Lloyd Muzangwa and Simbarashe Hove who all make up the Board of Trustees, Kurera became a common law universitas in which all members have agreed to achieve a common objective of helping underprivileged children at different capacities.
